TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
These terms and conditions apply to the use of any of the websites owned and operated by Candice Bernadette Bond – trading as KUKShades. By accessing this website and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or have access to this website. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@kukshades.com
The terms and conditions set out are in accordance with The Consumer Contracts Regulations which came into effect on June 13th 2014.
DEFINITIONS.
"KUKShades" "we" and "us" refers to Candice Bernadette Bond T/A KUKShades, whose registered office is 1 Green View, Low Hesket, Carlilse, CA4 0EZ "website" refers to www.kukshades.com
"Customer" and "you" refer to the individuals entering into the contract with KUKShades.
"net order value" is the total value of the order after the deduction of any discounts, deals or special offers issued by KUKShades and including any delivery charges.
GENERAL CONDITIONS.
All orders for goods shall be subject to these terms and conditions. No variation of these terms and conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing by KUKShades.
KUKShades guarantee that all goods displayed on offer are as described on the website and are fit for their intended purpose. The total price of the goods, including any postage costs are calculated at the checkout. Discount codes should be applied before the checkout process is complete.
Should any product fail to meet our high standards it will be replaced immediately or a refund issued. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Orders can only be accepted from customers who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age you are welcome to browse our website but regret that we are unable to accept any order from you.
PAYMENT FOR GOODS.
Payment for goods ordered can be made by any major credit card or debit card, execptions are for AMEX cards. We currently accept payments via Paypal accounts, it is not neccessary to have a Paypal account to use this service.
In the event of payment being declined by your card issuer, KUKShades shall not be responsible for resolving any issue,for any costs or inconvenience caused by a subsequent delay in despatch. Orders will not be despatched unless payment has been authorised.
KUKShades does not keep records of credit card numbers. The only details retained via the payment pathway are the name of the customer, the delivery address, email address and telephone number (if provided) and are only retained for the purpose of fulfilling the order and contacting you if a problem with your order arises.
DELIVERY METHODS - UK MAINLAND AND SELECTED OVERSEAS REGIONS.
In general orders are despatched same day or the day after they are received. However during busy times and public holidays this may not be possible. Please therefore allow one week for delivery.
Orders are sent by Roal Mail, standard or first class. Any special delivery requirements must be agreed by KUKShades if the customer wishes to use alternative delivery methods.
For orders going to our selected overseas regions these will go via Royal Mail/Air Mail or by AirSure, dependent on the destination. Projected delivery times will vary. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery to overseas destinations.
DELIVERY CHARGES.
Delivery to UK mainland addresses will be charged as stated on the website.
Delivery to overseas locations are subject to charges as set out on the website. Please note: We do not accept responsibility for non-delivery of orders when delivered to addresses outside of the European Community.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through our website within 14 working days of their receipt of the goods. UK residents and overseas customers, wishing to cancel an order, should contact the sales team by emailing sales@kukshades.com
We aim to despatch goods as quickly as possible, so if customers wish to cancel an order after it has been despatched they will follow the returns/refund proceedure.
Goods should then be returned to KUKShades, 1 Green View, Low Hesket, Carlisle, CA4 0EZ, United Kingdom in their original packing (if possible) and in their original condition.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS.
KUKShades will refund or replace any products if:
- We have been notified during the 14 day cancellation period which begin on the day the goods are recieved by the customer.
- They are returned to us in their original condition
- They are returned with the original receipt.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to KUKShades, unless we agree to cover the cost, prior to return. We will refund outgoing carriage as a matter of courtesy.
If the goods are not received with 14 days KUKShades will make a refund if the customer can provide a proof of posting receipt.
Once we receive the goods in saleable condition, a refund request for the order cost will be made to Paypal. The refund will be paid back to the credit/debit card used to make the initial purchase. An email to the customer from KUKShades will confirm this has been processed. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations will are obliged to makes refunds with in 14 days of the goods being returned.
KUKShades will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way.
EXCHANGES.
If for some reason you change your mind regarding the style or colour of a product, we will be happy to exchange it for you. If the value of the exchange item differs KUKShades will refund or make a charge for the difference. You have up to 14 days to make an exchange.
Please refer to the above conditions for returning goods to KUKShades.
SECURITY, PRIVACY AND COOKIES.
KUKShades is commited to safe guarding customer confidentiality. At no time will we share your details with any third party, contact you with unsolicited emails or junk mail, or display your details for others to see on our website or social media pages.
KUKShades does not store any payment details, such as credit card numbers. The only information we retain are for delivery purposes. Any email addresses or contact numbers the customer supplies may be retained for the purpose of contacting the customer regarding their order.
Cookies are used by the shopping cart/ordering system to keep track of your cart contents once you select an item and remain on your computer, for the duration of your shopping session. In common with other web sites your access is automatically logged by our server against your computer's IP address. By using and browsing this website, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our terms and conditions. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies from your browser's options menu or refrain from using the website.
LEGAL NOTICE.
This website and these terms and conditions follow the Consumer Contracts Regulations and are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this website shall be resolved by the English Courts.
