BRAND FOCUS - Alphabet Bags

KUKShades has been a stockist for Alphabet Bags since 2013. Our fisrt order was for a collection of shopper bags with summery typographic messages printed on them. I was attracted to their fresh look, they were simple yet stylish and I just knew my customers would love them. Alphabet Bags is based in Saffron Walden and was created by Hayley and Lucas, a husband and wife team with a desire for design.

This is how they say it started, on their website:

"Alphabet Bags launched quite simply with 26 cotton totes printed with every lovely letter from A to Z. People sure seemed to like them, and this not only made us very happy but it also encouraged us to carry on designing new things. We now have a whole bunch of collections including initial coin purses, colourful totes for summer, wash bags, a wedding collection and more typographic totes than you can shake a stick at. We are always working on new things and boy do we have big plans!"

Their enthusiasm, creative style and support of British manufacturing are a perfect fit with the KUKShades philosophy and Alphabet Bags are now a firm favourite with my customers. All their items are made from natural cotton or canvas and are hand printed. The quality of the work is amazing and the feeback we get from our customers is always positive. Alphabet Bags are a fabulous small business and I am so proud to be able to support it. If you want to give their products a go, we highly recommend it.

We still stock the cotton summer shoppers but as Alphabet Bags increased their product lines we too developed our store and opened up our accessories department. Wash bags and travel pouches are now as popular as the beach bags.

For the past two summers our best selling beach bag has been their "99 Problems" beach tote. A roomy, open topped bag perfect for long summer days.

Thank you for taking the time to find out a little bit more about Alphabet Bags, until next time,
